Slideshow: Looking back at Celebrate 30!

In one of his gospel songs, Music Maker’s founding artist Guitar Gabriel asked, “Do you know what it means to have a friend?” Looking back on 2024, we can confidently answer:

“Yes, Gabe – and so many of them.”

We are so, so moved by the support you showed us (and our artists) during our 30th anniversary year. Here are just a few of the things you helped us accomplish in 2024:

• Finish renovations on our recording studio in Fountain, NC
• Raise $66,042 (and counting!) for our Carolina Music Makers Fund to help musicians affected by Hurricane Helene
• Provide more than 350 sustenance grants to senior artists – plus larger grants to help with health issues, transportation, and other needs
• Present free roots concerts to audiences in Carrboro, NC and Durham, NC
• Surpass our $100,000 goal for the holiday season to raise a whopping $349,102 in November and December alone
