10th Annual Freight Train Blues
That’s a wrap on Freight Train Blues 2024! From May 3 to June 21, we celebrated 10 years of our concert series with eight evenings of amazing roots music in Carrboro, NC. Check out some highlights from this year’s series below.
Freight Train Blues honors Elizabeth “Libba” Cotten’s legacy in the world of roots music by emphasizing the cultural diversity, complexity, and vitality of her music and the music of artists local to North Carolina and beyond.
