ABOUT Music Maker Artists

WHERE THEY CAME FROM
The artists we work with are rooted in Southern musical traditions including blues, gospel, string band, and Native American styles.

WHERE THEY
We target our programs to serve the most vulnerable musicians, those age 55 and older with incomes under $18,000 a year. The sad reality is that many of these musicians are getting by on annual incomes of less than $10,000.
