Multinational salsa band Conjunto Breve was founded by percussionist Brevan Hampden in 2012. Members of the band come from all corners of the Americas, including Puerto Rico, Nicaragua, Venezuela, and the United States. Mixing the sounds of New York-style salsa and Cuban salsa, Conjunto Breve’s members have played with such celebrated salsa musicians as Celia Cruz, Tito Rojas, and Luis Enrique.
