Hats off to the wonderful folks at Oden’s Dock and the Breakwater Restaurant for their terrific hospitality. Captain Luke, Big Ron Hunter, James W., Mike Tillett and Cool John Ferguson rocked the house Saturday night with a big Music Maker Blues Revue concert at the Hatteras Civic Center.
We are very grateful to fisherman and marine wildlife artist Mark Ray for donating one of his original paintings of native species to Music Maker. We displayed the art at Saturday night’s concert and an anonymous donor purchased the painting for $1,000 and requested that the art be presented as a gift to Bill Boone in appreciation for spearheading this new tournament.
Lastly, Music Maker would like to express our deepest appreciation to Bill and Anne Hunter Boone, Dan Oden, Homer Styron and all of the citizens of Hatteras, NC for such a warm welcome to their wonderful island!
The good times continue at the 8th Annual Fishin’ Blues Tournament in February 2010.
We are already making plans for the 2010 Wahoo Hoo-Ha! and will be announcing our dates in the coming weeks!
